Chromosome staining/banding/FISH
Single NOR on chromosome pair 17, with an intra-population homomorphic/ heteromorphic NOR size variation. Two heterochromatic regions located on pair Nos. 8, 17 were CMA3 staining positive. 18S rDNA probe identified four signals on pair Nos. 17, 23, confirming also size heteromorphism for pair No. 17. Four 5S rDNA positive signals observed in two chromosome pairs. C-positive bands were restricted on terminal (pair Nos. 8, 11, 13) and pericentromeric regions (pair Nos. 11, 17) of few chromosomes.
